Carmine Labriola Contracting Corporation was founded in 1962 by Carmine and Philomena Labriola as a general landscaping company, primarily servicing corporate clients and a few private residences in the greater NYC metro area.
In 1970, under the guidance of architect Edward Durrell Stone Jr. and prominent landscape designer Russell Page, Carmine Labriola Contracting Corporation worked to develop the site of PepsiCo’s newly acquired international headquarters into a world-class sculpture garden and arboretum. The 168-acre project features a vast, neatly manicured great lawn and man-made lake encircled by 1.5 miles of scenic pathways through the neighboring woodlands and numerous dedicated garden spaces–each accented by varieties of flowers, trees, and shrubs from all over the globe, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Carmine Labriola Contracting Corporation has been maintaining the grounds at PepsiCo ever since.
Today, the company is owned and operated by Carmine’s son, Lawrence Labriola. With a much larger crew and state-of-the-art equipment, Carmine Labriola Contracting Corporation proudly continues to provide grounds and interior plant maintenance, landscape construction services, snow removal, and more for corporate and residential properties in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
